The Barts BioResource is a storage bank of biosamples (for analysis and genetic testing) held alongside patient’s healthcare related data (with personal information removed). The patient’s clinical data and biological samples (swabs, blood, urine, saliva and/ or tissue) will be treated as a donation to the Barts BioResource for the purposes of medical research into the identification, treatment and prevention of diseases.
