Patient and public involvement and engagement is core to how we run the Barts BioResource. We had our Patient and Public Advisory Group involved right from the start when the idea came about to establish the Barts BioResource to support recruitment, provide feedback on access applications and suggest amendments to our protocol and dissemination activities. Our PPI activities integrate closely with the PPI work of our NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Barts and the William Harvey Research Institute.
